This kit would make a wonderful Christmas present.
The enchanting title of this kit is "Regent Street."
Regent Street, a prominent shopping avenue nestled in London's West End, carries a name derived from George, the Prince Regent (later known as George IV). The design of this street was orchestrated under the guidance of architects John Nash and James Burton.
Christmas lights have graced Regent Street in various forms since 1882. The present-day festive displays trace back to 1948 when the Regent Street Association adorned the street with trees. Since 1954, this association has orchestrated the annual Christmas lights, each year unveiling a unique display during a November switching-on ceremony.
The source of inspiration for this kit is a painting by the distinguished British artist, Richard Macneil.
Richard Macneil, a self-taught British painter, has always been deeply rooted in the creative realm. Born in Worcester, UK, in 1958, his professional journey commenced at Worcester Royal Porcelain. His expertise spans sculpture, ceramics, and graphics across the UK and international spheres.
While in the USA, Richard's company, Bronn Fine Art, produced exclusive, sizable sculptures of American western art. One of his crowning achievements was witnessing his artwork grace the Oval Office in The White House.
Upon returning to Suckley, Worcestershire, UK, Richard Macneil freelanced as an artist for several years. In 2009, alongside his wife Judi and sons Daniel and Kyle, he established The Macneil Studio. This studio exclusively licenses the art crafted by Richard Macneil. Richard's travels across Europe continue to profoundly influence his work, inspired by the continent's architecture and traditions. His artistic vision seeks to create universally appealing and accessible art.
The price for this exceptional set is $123.00 CAD
We sincerely hope that this exquisite kit discovers its way to a new home, bringing joy to a skilled needleworker.
Warm regards,
